Education
Missouri University of Science and Technology
I am a PhD student at Missouri University of Science and Technology in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department. Under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Nafea, I am focusing on machine learning for fairness and interpretability.
ITMO University
I completed my Master’s degree in Digital Control Systems from 2020 to 2022 under the guidance of Dr. Alexey Vedyakov. My thesis, titled ‘Development of Adaptive Control Algorithms for Multi-Agent Systems Formation,’ explored innovative control strategies for coordinating multi-agent systems. During my studies, I had the opportunity to publish two papers on this topic and graduated with honors, earning a red diploma. This experience deepened my interest in adaptive control and set the foundation for my ongoing research journey.
Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology in 2019 after completing a rigorous 5-year program from 2014 to 2019. Throughout my studies, I focused on honing my programming and mathematics skills while gaining a deep understanding of control and electronic systems. My dedication led to top-rank honors for the last three years, and I received the Syrian Ministry of Higher Education award for top students in recognition of my academic performance for three consecutive years. I also had the opportunity to apply what I learned to various projects, which set a strong foundation for my career.
