Biography
Dr. Ann Schlotzhauer is an Assistant Professor of Psychological Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology. She received her B.A. from the University of Tulsa and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Her research focuses on the experiences of precarious workers and diverse populations, often employing the lens of occupational health psychology. Specifically, her work has examined how and why work experiences differ across workers and the broader implications of these differences. Schlotzhauer also studies how individuals respond to flawed or dissatisfying working conditions, including wellbeing outcomes and proactive responses (e.g., employee voice behavior, knowledge behaviors). Dr. Schlotzhauer teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on data analysis, social psychology, and occupational health and safety.
