I am happy to share the news that I am joining the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) as a tenure-track assistant professor since July 15, 2025. I am assigned to work on advanced composite materials, and specializing in damage, fracture, and fatigue of composites. I am beginning to screen and accept students (PhD, thesis-based MS, and undergraduate) in August 2025. A new laboratory will be established to support my endeavor. I am also open to collaboration within or outside US, focusing on the fundamental and application aspects of composites.
