Biography
Dr. Ahmed Sobhy holds a PhD degree in Mining Engineering from University of Kentucky, USA. He also holds M.Sc. and B.Sc. from Cairo University. He has many years of research, teaching, and industrial experiences overseas in several countries. Through his work conducting and over-seeing leading-edge research, Dr. Ahmed Sobhy advances mineral processing with an aim to improve the amount of high-quality minerals separated and extracted from ores. Dr. Ahmed Sobhy’s past and ongoing research focuses on finding novel ways to separate and extract valuable, critical, and strategic minerals in a more accurate, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
