Dr. Chaoying Pei

Biography

Dr. Chaoying Pei is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. She graduated with her Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Inertial Technology and Navigation Instruments and a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering from Beihang University, Beijing. Additionally, Dr. Pei brings valuable industry experience in autonomous driving technology to her academic and professional endeavors.

Non-convex optimization; Quadratically Constrained Quadratic Programs (QCQPs); Optimal control; Space exploration technology; Machine learning; Distributed computing
