Dr. El-adaway manages the Civil Infrastructure System-of-Systems Interdependency Laboratory (CI2SI-L) that investigates how an integrated approach, which is based on broad system interdependencies of the built environment, can mitigate the management challenges associated with the sustainability of infrastructure systems.
