Biography
I am an applied statistician and my research focuses on the statistical modeling of biological data. My primary research interests include:
- Statistical modeling of genomic, epigenomic, and biomedical data
- Statistical methods for explainability in unsupervised learning applications
My research has been funded by NIH and Leonard Wood Institute. From 2014-2018, I was a Co-PI for Science Education and Quantitative Literacy (SEQL), an inquiry-based math and science integration professional development program for 3rd-5th grade students teachers (funded by the Missouri Department of Higher Education).
