Biography

Dr. Yew San Hor specializes in experimental condensed matter physics. He is interested in the experimental exploration of novel solid state bulk and nanostructured materials that may have implications both for scientific understanding in general and for future technological developments. Dr. Hor’s expertise is in crystal growth and synthesis of quantum material systems including, but not limited to three dimensional topological insulators, topological superconductors, correlated electron systems and nanostructured thermoelectric power/cooling materials.
