Dr. Ming Leu Delivers Two Seminars at National University of Singapore

Dr. Ming C. Leu delivered two seminars Tuesday, July 4, and Thursday, July 6, at the Advanced Research and Technology Innovation Centre at the National University of Singapore. The titles of his talks were “3D Printing of Dressings and Scaffolds for Skin and Bone Tissue Engineering,” and “From Rapid Prototyping of Ice Parts to Additive Manufacturing of Advanced Ceramic and Metallic Components.”

Leu founded Missouri S&T’s Center for Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies in 2004 and served as director until 2016. A member of SME since 1990, his professional awards include the International Freeform and Additive Manufacturing Excellence (FAME) Award (2020), the ASME Milton C. Shaw Manufacturing Research Medal (2018), the University of Missouri President’s Leadership Award (2017), ASME Blackall Machine Tool and Gage Award (2014), the ISFA Hideo Hanafusa Outstanding Investigator Award (2008) and ASME Dedicated Service Award (2004).
