Dr. Ming Leu, the Keith and Pat Bailey Missouri Professor of Integrated Product Manufacturing, has won the International Freeform and Additive Manufacturing Excellence (FAME) Award. The award is sponsored by the International Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium, a conference on additive manufacturing research.
The FAME award recognizes outstanding long-term contributions to the field of additive manufacturing. Leu is only the fourth U.S. winner in the previous 11 years and the first since 2014. As the award recipient, Leu will present the symposium’s plenary keynote talk, scheduled for Monday, Aug. 17, on Zoom.
