Biography
Dr. Jeff Chalfant is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Missouri University of Science and Technology and the Missouri 4-H State Specialist in STEM. He joined the Education Department in July, 2024 after completing his Ph.D. in STEM Education from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Jeff’s passion for teaching is rooted in preparing educators to inspire a love for all things STEM in their students. His most recent research interests include bringing innovative STEM programming to students in underserved or never served areas in Missouri. Dr. Jeff’s role as the Missouri 4-H State Specialist in STEM is to provide leadership and support for STEM education, programming, outreach, and professional development.
