Biography

Dr. Ng (EN-JEE) grew up in St. Augustine, Florida, and spent most of his adult life in Florida between Gainesville and Orlando. He loves attending trivia nights and is (currently) excited to experience the changing seasons.

His research broadly focuses on survey methodology and psychological measurement concerns, such as the importance of content validation procedures, and occupational health issues, such as stressors in the workplace. Ng is interested in bridging his linguistics background with his occupational health expertise by investigating the role of language in informing organizational experiences. Ng’s work has been published in outlets such as the Journal of Business and Psychology and the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.

He teaches Job Analysis and Performance Management, Advanced Research Methods, and Psychometrics in S&T’s master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology degree program and teaches Industrial Psychology at the undergraduate level.
