The Quantum Materials School is dedicated to the synthesis, characterization, and modeling of quantum materials. It targets undergraduate students in their 2^nd -4^th years and will provide lectures and practical training for future scientists. The participants will gain basic knowledge on how to plan and carry out the crystal growth and characterization of quantum materials, and computational modeling of their properties.

The school will be held for two days at the Physics Department, Missouri S&T. Mornings will be dedicated to active learning lectures given by the world-famous quantum material scientists at S&T and afternoons will be spent in the laboratories to get hands on training.
