Who We Are
We are excited to announce the formation of a new Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) Council and are seeking nominations for passionate and visionary individuals to serve as members. This Council will play a critical role in the development and strengthening of our university’s I&E ecosystem, driving innovation, fostering collaboration and promoting entrepreneurial growth.
The I&E Council will focus on the following key areas:
- Expanding Corporate Partnerships: Build on our existing network of hundreds of corporate partners by enhancing opportunities for collaboration, research and innovation. This includes increasing capacity and access to problem-solving partnerships between corporations and our students.
- Extending Entrepreneurship Programs: Strengthen the impact of our current entrepreneurship and innovation programs by organizing new convening activities that engage and support regional entrepreneurial stakeholders.
- Super-Connecting Ambassadors: Serve as the organizational hub for a group of “super-connecting” ambassadors who will link the university’s innovation efforts to the broader world, ensuring our initiatives resonate beyond campus.
- Supporting Resource Development: Help identify and coordinate efforts to recruit additional funding, facilities, programming and economic development resources that benefit all stakeholders within our innovation ecosystem.
We are seeking individuals who:
- Have demonstrated leadership or expertise in innovation, entrepreneurship or related fields.
- Are deeply committed to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship at the university and within the broader community.
- Possess the ability to connect diverse stakeholders and mobilize resources for the benefit of the I&E ecosystem.
- Have strong networks within corporate, academic or entrepreneurial circles.
