Panhellenic Calendar

The Panhellenic Council is proud to plan and host some exciting events for the S&T community! Check them out below!

Bright Lights, Brighter Futures: April 6th-April 12th

Bright Lights Brighter Futures is the Panhellenic Council & IFC’s spring philanthropy week. During this week we host events such as Pie-a-Prez, Trivia Night, Bake Sale (with puppies), Hot Dog Eating Contest, and it all ends with Greek Sing! All the money raised from these events is donated to the Panhellenic Council & IFC’s joint philanthropy, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of South Central Missouri.

Greek Sing: April 12th

Greek Sing is our version of Battle of the Bands. Sorority and fraternity bands prepare songs that fit that year’s theme, this year it was Divorced Dad Rock, and then perform them onstage to compete with all the other bands. At the end of the night the judge’s scores are tallied and the trophies are awarded to the best bands of the night!

Greek Week: September 10th-September 20th

Greek Week is an event where sororities and fraternities get to compete in various sports and show off feats of athleticism. Greek Week starts with Godz, Goddessez, and Titanz reveal where members of Greek Life are honored for their contributions to our community. The next day is Opening Ceremonies at Allgood-Bailey Stadium which kicks off the beginning of the competition. Saturday is Opening Games at the Rolla National Airport where members are able to cheer on their brothers in sisters, play in the games of the day, and enjoy time with the entire greek community. Greek Week ends with Closing Games on the following Saturday, also at the Rolla National Airport. Closing Games wraps up all of the games of Greek Week, and then the winning sorority and fraternity are crowned champions!

Greek Awards Banquet

The Greek Awards Banquet is an event to acknowledge the work of members of our community throughout the year. The Panhellenic Council hands out many awards such as the Boo Eversman Award which honors a Panhellenic woman who demonstrates exceptional dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive community, actively participating in events that unite Greek organizations and showcasing a commitment to collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect. We also name one woman as the Panhellenic Woman of the Year. This is someone who had demonstrated and unwavering commitment and has poured considerable effort into enhancing our Panhellenic community, embodying the spirit of collaboration and unity. Some other awards given out are Emerging Panhellenic Leader, Greek Woman of the Year, The Harmony Award, The Service Award, The Friendship Award, New Member of the Year, and the Panhellenic Advisor Award.
