Biography
Professor Elizabeth Roberson serves as an Associate Teaching Professor within the Department of English and Technical Communication at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T). She holds a Master’s Degree in technical communication, earned at Missouri S&T. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English, a Bachelor’s Degree in creative writing, and an Associate’s Degree in business administration, each earned at Drury University.
She teaches a multitude of classes within the department, including English 1120 (Exposition and Argumentation), English 1160 (Writing and Research), English and Technical Communication 1600 (Introduction to Technical Communication), English and Technical Communication 2540 (Layout and Design), English and Technical Communication 2560 (Technical Marketing), and Hit the Ground Running (English and Technical Communication).
Professor Roberson’s current area of research is focused on social media marketing within higher level institutions, specifically how English and technical communication departments utilize social media in general to communicate with various audiences to achieve various outcomes.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, sketching, journaling, watching television reruns, and playing Fortnite.
