My teaching expertise is general biology, animal physiology, entomology, and bioenergetics. I’ve taught over 12,000 student credit hours to over 4,000 students in lecture and laboratory courses at several universities. Over the years I have progressively moved towards evidence-based teaching and learning practices to help students become more engaged with the material and concepts, take more ownership of the of the learning process and goals, and ultimately reach higher levels of learning success and satisfaction. Below is a list of courses I’ve taught or co-taught.
