Teaching

My Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is based on peer-reviewed research on effective pedagogical methods and draws heavily on my professional experience. One of the most valuable insights I had as a student is that learning demands dedicated effort; there is simply no shortcut. I believe a key to effective teaching is to enlighten students to the idea that working hard can be satisfying and even enjoyable. As a teacher, I want to inspire students to be life-long learners by instilling a passion for enquiry and a healthy work ethic. Learning should extend beyond the confines of the classroom.
