Biography

Dr. Seongho Han is an assistant research professor in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. He specializes in innovative approaches to resilient infrastructure and sustainable construction materials. Dr. Han’s research focuses on rheology, durability, sustainable cement-based materials, carbon capture and utilization (CCU) in construction, 3D concrete printing, and machine learning applications in concrete science. Dr. Han completed his Ph.D. at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where he developed aqueous CO2 curing methods for cement-based materials. His prior education includes an M.S. and B.S. from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), with research focusing on sustainable structural systems and natural fiber-reinforced cement composites.
