Sarah Sullivan joined the Kummer Center for STEM Education in March 2024. She accepted her new role as K12 Educational Program Associate and will mainly be assisting with S&T summer camps. She is no stranger to Missouri S&T; she comes to us from the Electrical and Computer Engineering department where she served as department and student support for over two years prior.
She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood endorsement from the University of Michigan and later earned a certificate in teaching Middle School English Language Arts. During her teaching career she had the privilege to work with struggling students K-8 as a Title 1 Math and Reading teacher. Later in her career she taught 7th and 8th Grade Math for Salem Middle School, and 7th and 8th Grade English for Bland Middle School.
Sarah brings a wealth of experience in educational programing, event management, and activity planning. She is excited at the opportunity to work with K-12 students, the local teachers, and the S&T student leaders for the Kummer Center for STEM Education.
