Women’s Hall of Fame Nomination

The best way to get the attention of the WHF Committee is to have a complete, well-prepared, and well-documented nomination. Nominations for the Women’s Hall of Fame will be taken throughout the year. The deadline for nominations for the Women’s Hall of Fame honorees is the second Friday in January of the year in which the selection is made.

Nomination Process

Nominations for a Women’s Hall of Fame honoree are typically vetted through a rigorous selection process. The WHF committee reviews each
nomination, assessing the nominee’s contributions, achievements, and impact in their field by utilizing the criteria and eligibility requirements
identified below. The vetting process often includes verifying credentials, evaluating letters of support, and ensuring the nominee aligns with the
Women’s Hall of Fame’s standards.

The Women’s Hall of Fame committee members vote on selected nominees through a structured and fair process to determine the honorees. After
thoroughly reviewing each nominee’s achievements, impact, and alignment with the Hall’s mission, committee members cast their votes, often
using a scoring system or ranking method. Discussions may take place to ensure consensus, and in some cases, multiple rounds of voting are
conducted to narrow down the final selections. The process is designed to be transparent and objective, ensuring that the most deserving
candidates are honored. There is typically between 1-3 honorees chosen annually.
