With NSF support, a limited number of travel grants will be provided. The travel grants will be $1,000 maximum (actual cost if less) to cover the following:
- Transportation (airfare, car rental or mileage)
- Accommodations
- Meal per diems (for meals not included with the conference)

Applications open April 1st, 2024.
The deadline to submit travel grants is May 31st, 2024.
Participants will be asked to add a statement why travel assistance is requested, including a budget and budget justification. The application must be accompanied by an abstract for the proposed poster and/or oral presentation. It is noted that in some cases the presentation requirement may be waived. However, preference will be given for those applicants that are presenting at the meeting, especially students and early-career researchers. Women and under-represented minorities are encouraged to apply for travel assistance.
Travel assistance will be awarded after the workshop. Participants will have 14 days from the last day of the workshop to provide documentation of attendance and presentation in order to receive their travel grant. The procedure for providing the documentation will be published on the workshop website and announced during the workshop. No funds will be made available prior to the workshop.
