Biography

After postdoctoral appointments in Dresden, Freiburg and Heidelberg, Dr. Jentschura was appointed an Assistant Professor in 2009 at Missouri University of Science and Technology. In 2015, he was promoted to Full Professor. He received the Georg-Helm-Prize from the University of Technology in Dresden in 2000 and holds a habilitation degree from Dresden (2003) and Heidelberg (2005). He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society (2013). In 2022, he authored a book (with Gregory Adkins) on Quantum Electrodynamics (812 pages), which discusses the foundations of the bound-state formalism. He has authored more than 200 refereed research papers.
