Welcome to John Singler’s webpage. I am a professor and associate chair in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Missouri S&T.

My general research areas are applied mathematics, scientific computing, and numerical analysis. I am particularly interested in data-driven model order reduction of partial differential equations (PDEs), computational methods for control of PDEs, and applications in control theory, engineering, and mathematics.

I am on the editorial board for the SIAM Advances in Design and Control book series, and I have also served as an associate editor for the American Control Conference. My research has been funded by the National Science Foundation.
