Dr. Md Arifuzzaman

Biography
Md Arifuzzaman is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno, under the guidance of Dr. Engin Arslan. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
Dr. Arifuzzaman’s research interests encompass High-Performance Systems and Networking, Distributed Systems, and Quantum Networking. His work addresses critical challenges in optimizing the performance and scalability of large-scale systems, and his research contributions have been featured in prestigious journals and conferences such as IEEE TPDS, IEEE/ACM Supercomputing (SC), ACM Supercomputing (ICS), IEEE QCNC, IFIP TMA, and IEEE Cluster. His ongoing work continues to push the boundaries of systems and networking to meet the demands of emerging technologies.
