Dr. Md Arifuzzaman

Biography

Md Arifuzzaman is an assistant professor of computer science at Missouri S&T. Prior to joining MST, he completed his PhD in computer science and engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, under the supervision of Dr. Engin Arslan. Additionally, he obtained his MS in Applied Statistics from East West University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2019 and his Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2016.

His research interests span multiple areas, including High-Performance Systems and Networking, Distributed Systems, and Systems Software. His research contributions have been published in premier systems and networking journals and conferences such as IEEE TPDS, EEE/ACM Supercomputing (SC), ACM Supercomputing (ICS), IFIP TMA, IEEE Cluster, and IEEE LCN.
