Biography

Dr. Risheng Wang received her PhD in Chemistry under the supervision of Professor Nadrian C. Seeman from New York University in 2010. She then joined the Department of Chemistry at Columbia University as a postdoctoral research associate, after which she became an associate research scientist at Columbia. Dr. Wang joined Missouri University of Science and Technology as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry in the fall of 2014. She was promoted to associate professor in 2020. Her research focuses on the development of novel techniques for organizing functional nanomaterials and fabricating integrated molecular-scale devices using DNA-based assembly and explore their biomedical, optoelectronic, and biotechnology applications.
