Teaching

My Teaching Philosophy

Learning never stops nor it should. My role as a teacher is to reveal this fact to my students by being an example and help them enjoy the process of learning.

Learning happens easily when students realize how good it feels to learn new knowledge. In my class I create an environment that encourages exploration, critical thinking, and the application of knowledge to real-world situations.

Courses to be taught in the upcoming semester

[Electronics II – EE3120]

I aim to foster an understanding of the following concepts in this course.

  • Frequency response, Bode Plots, Low frequency response of amplifiers, Miller effect, High frequency response of amplifiers, Cascode amplifiers, Power amplifiers, Feedback and stability, Operational amplifier circuits, Nonideal effects in operational amplifier circuits, Applications and design of integrated circuits, CMOS logic and interfacing, Bipolar digital circuits, ECL, DTL, TTL, etc

[Electric Circuits – EE2800]

In this course, we focus heavily on the following concepts.

  • Practicing engineers are required to have a wide knowledge bandwidth that often encompasses problem solving in areas outside of their core area of expertise. This practical course for non-electrical engineering majors will provide a basic working knowledge and problem-solving skill-set of electrical principles to facilitate solving a core set of applications. Further, the necessary topics in the electrical area for the FE exam are covered in the process.

Teaching Methods and Approaches

I employ a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles, including [e.g., flipped classrooms, problem-based learning, group projects]. I believe in a hands-on approach and incorporate real-world examples and case studies wherever possible.

Student Engagement

I encourage student engagement through active participation in discussions, group projects, and presentations. I also offer virtual office hours and am always open to questions and discussions outside of class time.

Office Hours

I hold office hours on any day as needed with prior appointments arrangement made via email. This appointment could be in person or via telephone or zoom as needed.

Professional Development

I am dedicated to continuous professional growth and regularly attend workshops and seminars on teaching innovations and pedagogy. I also participate in [relevant professional or academic societies] to stay current in my field and in the realm of education.
